Silently Screaming

Listen Later

Silently screaming

Darkness fell across my eyes never wanting to want to leave

Sometimes the promise of a new sunrise is too hard tobelieve

Wanting tomorrows that for years he spent every nightdreaming

Only to wake up in the pitch black all alone and silentlyscreaming

Understanding the echoes of the questions he tirelesslypoises

While a cacophony of reality batters his mind with suchnoises

The wreckers of dreams perpetually at work ever scheming

Trying to destroy every last vestige as I lie silentlyscreaming

Oh! What in the world is the truth I can no longer delay mydesire

How on earth can man stand his ground when he’s surroundedby fire

Are we the silhouettes behind the glass? Impassioned loversbeaming?

Or doomed to an eternity kept apart by fate and left silentlyscreaming
