There is a huge demand to buy homes here in San Jose and surrounding areas. I typically see anywhere from 4-15 offers on basic houses. The list price isn’t the final price. Bidding wars are still going on, and I typically see anywhere from $50-150K over list price.  That doesn’t mean you can’t negotiate. I just helped a client buy a house that was on the market for over 30 days. We came in $40k less than List-you just have to know where to look and how to get a good deal for your clients.
