It's easy to get things upside down in life - our perspective can be skewed and we can miss the point! Christmas, however, is not an area where we can afford to get things turned around!

Most of us understand the purpose of camouflage - it's used to hide something or someone in plain sight. There are times however when something can be inadvertently camouflaged when instead it should be front and center. Christmas can be like that at times, hidden by the unimportant and distracting things around this time of year. The birth of Jesus is far too important to allow it to be camouflaged by anything!

There are plenty of things that come into play throughout life that can cause us to miss something else important and Christmas is no exception. In fact, the first Christmas was missed by all the religious experts and leaders who should have known the importance of such an event! We can't afford to miss the meaning of Christmas in our own lives today!

Is it possible to actually miss Christmas? It may be hard to miss something like Christmas today, but in fact many almost missed the first Christmas for one reason or another. It's easy in our world today to miss the true meaning and reason for Christmas and this month we're reminded that it's not something to be missed!

Certain things in life just go together with one another, don't they? As we wrap up our series Heart of Gratitude, Pastor Kevin highlights an important quality that just seems to go along with gratitude in our lives!
