Silvija Ulmanis is a Quebec citizen with more than 20 years work experience planning, delivering, evaluating, and reporting on programs and presentations, including work with Canadian colleges in the Planning for Canada program. She has first-hand experience in immigration and relocation, understanding  the challenges newcomers face in Canada. Silvija has a strong understanding of the Canadian labour market, and settlement and support services.

She is familiar with Indian subcontinent and its culture through first-hand experience with the Planning for Canada team in India, personal visits to the country, and contact with a large Indian population in the Middle East. She speaks three languages: French, English, Latvian.
