I FACTORY (Mark III) tornano a sorprendere con una versione unica e dilatata di Lazy Sunday, celebre brano degli Small Faces, registrata in una torrida giornata di agosto, dove il caldo torrido e la birra ghiacciata hanno lasciato il segno tanto quanto le note.

Lontana dal tono scanzonato e cockney dell’originale, questa reinterpretazione si immerge in territori psichedelici e visionari, trasformando il brano in una jam fluida, ipnotica, sospinta da un groove acido che si sedimenta lentamente nell’ascoltatore.

La sezione ritmica, profonda e densa, accompagna con eleganza le linee sinuose di basso e batteria, mentre la chitarra tesse trame riverberate e distese, affacciandosi su assoli dilatati e pieni di pathos. L’Hammond si intreccia con il Wurlitzer, dando vita a un dialogo sospeso tra soul e psichedelia, mentre la voce calda e intensa di Antonio Miscali si muove tra ironia e malinconia, restituendo nuova anima al testo.

Una cover che non vuole imitare ma riscrivere, con rispetto e visione, un classico del beat britannico. Una “Lazy Sunday” che scorre lenta ma profonda, come un’allucinazione musicale nata da una calura estiva.
