  • The News In Review - Barrett And Guests
The 2016 race for a stay at the worlds most exclusive hotel The White House is just getting underway, and people are already 'thinking about, thinking about running', There are no end of potential candidate talking about wearing the GOP mantle. Could this be third time lucky for Mitt Romney? Could the Bush family setting up for a threepeat with Jeb? Will Chris Christie throw his hat in the ring, rumor has it the cooking in the Whitehouse is quite good, and plentiful.
Oh and of course we have the perenial non-candidate The Donald. But what would a modern election be without him? Hell if he wins it would probably spawn a rash of reality TV series, I rather like 'Celebrity Cabinet Member'. Even the insufferable Sarah Palin is making noises. I am waiting for one of the Kardashian tribe to anounce their interest.
2016 is gearing up to be a lot of fun.

  • Americas Most Unwanted - The People Who Find Them
It is one thing to stretch the truth a bit in order to get information. It is an entirely different thing when laws are broken in a blatent fashion. It is also amazingly dumb to have your admission caught on tape. What happens when that tape makes it to the internet and is available for anyone to listen to?
I was in shock and horror when I listened to the recording. I also found great humor in it, if you are a technical wiz you should not say "oh this doesn't autocomplete like GoDaddy". Haha, GoDaddy is a web registration and hosting company, it does not autocomplete anything other than extracting money from your bank account.

  • The Week In Reviews - The Mangoes
Today on the program I will be talking to Tim Morse of the the Mangoes. They have just released their self titled debut almum and it is fair to say that it is an absolute delight. While most artists love to stick in a particular genre these guys know no bounds. Are they 60's pop, 70's prog, 80's rock? I don't know. But they sure are fun to listen to. Please joinus and listen in for what I am sure is going to be an interesting interview, we will also be playine some tracks from the album.
The Mangoes first album is really a rock opera and we've used different genres of music, instrumental interludes and guest musicians/vocalists to help tell the story. While the story takes a serious turn at the end we want the listeners to know that the whole thing is very tongue in cheek. It's just a story and no Mangoes were hurt in the making of it!

Our weekly look at what the world of news and politics has to offer. A copy of Charlei Hebdo sold for $20,000, who in their right mind would pay that sum? Mitt Romney gearing up for 2016, Morman underware makers rejoice. Flight data recorders found in Air Asia plane crash, does anyone care? Obama set for his State Of The Union speach, can he persuade Congress to actually do anything?

  • The Week In Reviews - Lunden Reign
Lora G and Nikki Lunden are set to release their debut concept album American Stranger. Set for a March release you can get a preview by tuning into the program.
Nikki elaborates about the album's concept, “ 'American Stranger' is a complete story from end to end. It was designed to be a sort of 'rock opera' about intolerance and those willing to stand up to it as well as those it's destroying. The central character is 'Mary' (song #7), a young woman who feels isolated, misunderstood and so disconnected from the world 'I want so hard to be set free, from everyone that judges me. I want to live a live someday, a world away from yesterday.' The song 'Mary' is prefaced by '28IF', 'Hear Me' and 'American Stranger'. In the end she overcomes in 'Hush and Whispers': 'Who cares what I am, it's all insane stop trying to change my life.'”

  • The News In Review - Barrett and Guests
Tuesday marks the new congress starting. One has to wonder if it will be more productive than the last one. Of course you can make the argument that it would be impossible to be worse than the last. I am keeping an open mind.

  • Americas Most Unwanted and The People Who Find Them
Our weekly look at the sometimes strange world of the Bail Bond industry. I never know what to expect on the program. A great example was last week. Although the story was most amusing, it offered a great deal of information about the level of danger that a recovery agent can find himself put in.
