Simon Barrett

James Ross is the author of 4 novels. All of them feature golf, yet golf is not the central story.

Many of us have 'howled at the moon', Steven Mayfield has turned that sentiment into a book of short stories. I do hope that you will join us for what I suspect will be a lively discussion.

I recently had the good fortune to read a couple of books by the husband and wife team of Mannie Barling and Ashley Brooks. My wife opened the package and declared "Oh Simon what have you got yourself into now". I had to admit that I was not sure. The titles alone were daunting. What did I know about Arthritis, Crohn's disease, Gout, Colitis, or something called IBD, or was that IBS?

These are serious health problems. Far more common than most people realize. We will be talking about ways that people can take charge. Don't be a victim, be a winner.

Paul Deepan has just released a great debut book The Fruit Of The Dendragon Tree. Fantasy is the genre, but this is fantasy with a bite! There is a very sharp edge to this authors style.

I think this interview is best summed up by a quote from the latest press release:

Much to the anticipation of guitarists and music aficiandos worldwide, one of the great lost guitar albums of the 2000's by guitarist Jerry Jennings is finally getting re-released. Featuring rock legend Ronnie Montrose, Jerry Jennings 'Shortcut To The Center' CD had a very limited run in the early 2000's and until now has been difficult to find.

There is more to Jerry than just music, he is also an author. I can't wait to talk with him. We will also be airing two tracks from Shortcut To The Center.

This is must listen radio for any music lover.

Our weekly look at these sad and frustrating cases.

Mary Martin will be talking about her latest book The Drawing Lesson.

This husband and wife team have published two books. They are both on a subject near and dear to many Baby Boomers, PAIN!

Arthritis, Gout, and a whole host of other health issues lead to a world that can be debilitating. Mannie and Ashley have some ideas, and they are not 'Better Living Through Drugs'

Missing Persons are not the exception, these days they are more the rule!

We will have our regular panel, and it will be brutal.

His official title is Director Of Digital Media, roughly that translates into being AMD's link between the world of technology and the world of entertainment.

Business Week uses a less reverent description "Charlie Boswell, a 51-year-old former songwriter with shaggy hair, may just be the biggest schmoozer in Hollywood these days."

The Bos, as he is known to his inner circle is a dynamo of energy and ideas. Who knows where this interview will go. I am hoping that Charlie will tell us about his experiences with the recent box office hit Predators, and the upcoming Machete.

I am sure that we will also be discussing one of his pet projects - Global Nerding. Charlie contents that you do not need to know how to temper steel to use a hammer. So you should not need to be a nerd to use a computer.
