Simon Miller's Pro-Wrestling Show

How do you become a pro-wrestler? That's the question this week as we talk to international wrestling sensation David Francisco (@DFranciso_1). Not only did David play a huge role in training me, he's been wrestling for years, moved to the UK to pursue his wrestling dream and has just started Purpose Wrestling, a brand new promotion. We also get into AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 and discuss the most mad WWE RAW ever. Brace yourselves...Wanna come on the podcast? You can! The big report to end the week is that WWE has reached out to New Japan to form some sort of exclusive partnership. Can you imagine? The internet will melt down! It was report by the Wrestling Observer, though, as was the latest info about WWE SummerSlam. Saturday PPVs return! We also go through AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 and wrap up the rest of the wrestling news.Wanna come on the podcast? You can! The big debate this week is who is the best wrestler in the world? The two candidates were Randy Orton and Kenny Omega after Jim Ross had referred to them on his podcast, and my word, did this cause a storm. As ever there is no answer because you are an individual and will have your own opinions, but still. We also get into WWE RAW, SmackDown, and everything happening with AEW as well as talk about the recent A&E Ultimate Warrior documentary.Wanna come on the podcast? You can! Zombies have come to WWE. Really it was just a matter of time... Debuting at WWE WrestleMania Backlash, I also think they turned The Miz into The Undead as he wasn't on RAW. Now as it turns out Miz was injured at the PPV - so best thoughts to him - but it got the internet talking even though the PPV was really goo aside from this one match. There's also AEW, NXT and your questions to get into, so let's do just that!Wanna come on the podcast? WWE WrestleMania Backlash is this Sunday, and given the name, RAW has become a sequence of rematches and rehashed feuds. You can't blame it on the PPV, though, as SmackDown is tremendous television that gets better every week.AEW is also building to its Double or Nothing PPV which could see Kenny Omega defend his world title against Orange Cassidy, and Miro should be the TNT Champion come Thursday morning. If he's not something has gone very wrong. What does Simon Miller think about all this and more? Time to find out!Wanna come on the podcast? You can! AEW Blood & Guts was an over the top, violent match which ended with a man being thrown off the cage. I liked it! It also has setup a ludicrous Dynamite for next week as we head towards Double Or Nothing.Daniel Bryan has also officially left WWE and is a free agent, so with all of this, let's sit down and talk some pro-wrestling!Wanna come on the podcast? Eva Marie has returned to WWE! And everyone is mad about it, because of course they are. That was the biggest talking point from another RAW which felt very similar to last week's, although thankfully SmackDown was awesome so we do have some balance. We also look forward to AEW Blood & Guts and, of course, answer YOUR questions!Wanna come on the podcast? WrestleMania 37 and the RAW after WrestleMania are done and talk about a mixed bag! Nights one and two at the "Showcase Of The Immortals" had plenty of highlights whereas 24 hours later... well who even knows? It was almost as if we should've stopped watching on Sunday and given it a week. There's lots to talk about though, so let's do just that.Wanna come on the podcast? You can! WrestleMania 37 is here! It's been a weird build but the card itself is excellent with matches like Edge vs Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair and Cesaro vs Seth Rollins all ready to steal the show. But who will win? What's going to happen? And are there any surprises planned?Wanna come on the podcast? You can! Joakim Morales (@JoakimMorales) runs Battle Club Pro in New York and has a who's who come and go through his doors. As the world starts to open up again, myself and Jo chatted about his promotion, the wrestling scene in general and what the future holds for the indie scene and beyond. Maybe - just maybe - we also discuss how I may be headed in that direction sometime soon...Wanna come on the podcast? You can!
