If people wanted to be close to Jesus, Jesus wanted to be close to them.  Jesus was very different than any other gods people worshiped.  He was the sacrificial lamb.  He served the people.  And we are to follow that example.  Chief servant.

Jarius doesn't know where else to go, so he goes to Jesus.  Then Jesus went with Jarius.  All it would take is for Jesus to say the word and life would come back.  So, Jesus said the words, "My child, get up!'  And she did.
