God doesn't care if you have stuff, he cares if your stuff has you. Can we trust God with our finances or will we allow them to become our god?

We love the Jesus who does miracles and answers our prayers. But when the table is cleared and all that is left is Jesus, will he be enough for us? Followers know and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, so no matter what comes their way, Jesus will always be enough.

As Christians, we must keep in mind that a relationships with Jesus needs to be our primary focus, not the rules of the relationship. When we care about following the rules more than the person of Jesus, we will wind up pushing people away from their opportunity to meet Jesus.

We all want comfort. We like our chairs, beds, clothes, relationships, finances, and lives comfy. But the invitation to follow Jesus is anything but that. In fact, it is quite the opposite as he invites us to "Come and Die."

Our natural response to intimacy is fear because we know that vulnerability and pain go hand in hand. Followers of Jesus have been called to a deep level of intimacy, where they know and are known completely.
