Welcome to Thailand. In this episode, I would like to share my
experience traveling to Thailand as a person without eyesight. Traveling
is not easy for me—I cannot see, and every step comes with challenges.
But even when it feels difficult, I believe it is still possible. We can
do it.
Thailand is a beautiful country. The weather is nice, the food is
amazing, and the people are kind. At the same time, life here can feel
very different. There is a big gap between upper class and lower class,
between wealthy people and those who struggle. There doesn’t seem to be
much middle class. You can see the contrast everywhere—from high-end
Western-style places to local neighborhoods.
Fancy places offer comfort and good service, but everything is
expensive. You pay more for that lifestyle. I choose a simpler, more
normal life. I like local food, local places, and good prices. I don’t
have a lot of money, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy life. Simple
living can still be comfortable, meaningful, and full of joy.
This journey reminds me that everyone can choose how they want to live.
High class or simple life—it’s about what makes you feel comfortable and
happy. Even with challenges, especially as someone who cannot see, I am
grateful for this experience.
Thank you so much to everyone who supports me and walks with me on this
journey.
