Sheletta's son Andrew had an emotional breakdown after being cooped up in the house because of the coronavirus. Tears were shed, yelling ensued, hugs were handed out and a counselor had to be called in to help. This mother-son duo share their emotional journey of healing during the pandemic to help others.

On this week's episode of the Mommy & Me Podcast on #SHElettaMakesMeLaugh, Andrew makes the case for why, at just 13-years-old, he's "mature" enough to watch R-rated movies. When his plea fell on deaf ears, he tried to convince his mama that it would benefit his knowledge of black history if he was able to watch Jordan Peele's horror flick "Us". 

In order for Sheletta to promote her new autism book, Andrew has to step up and help out with his younger siblings. The teenager talks about the challenges of filling the role of assistant teacher while his mom works to sell copies of Cameron Goes To School.

With the release of her new autism children's book Cameron Goes To School, Sheletta talks to her son Andrew about their family's battle with autism. The two are amazed at the gains the children have made since their diagnosis. But he's found some strategies, besides harassing his younger siblings, to cope with the isolation caused by the coronavirus crisis. Sheletta has a new children's book called Cameron Goes To School, about her daughter's autism journey as she prepares to go off to kindergarten. The six year old joins the Mommy & Me Podcast to talk about what she hopes the world will learn from a book about a little black girl with autism. 

On The Mommy & Me Podcast, when Sheletta learned that Andrew had kissed a girl, she was kissing the floor because she fell out. The helicopter mom tried to explain to her son that having a relationship is hard work for an adult to manage emotionally, but her pleading fell on deaf ears because Andrew is in love.

When Andrew's friend ask him if he thought a classmate was attractive, he responded, "She's too fat for me." That friend took their private conversation and posted it word-for-word on social media. Andrew got in trouble and upset that his friend would betray his trust. On The Mommy & Me Podcast, Sheletta used this as a chance to teach her son what a true friend really is, and it ain't a snitch.

Andrew is out sick, so Sheletta called Jason Clopton, from The Teen Whisperer podcast, to fill in. Her secret plan to get Jason Clopton to help her understand why Andrew told his dad, and not her, that he's got a girlfriend backfired. Suffice it to say, Sheletta did NOT like the answers Jason gave her.

Andrew's basketball season came to a screeching halt when he injured his knee during a fluke accident at school. The teen is emotional, to say the least, about not being able to play the game he loves. He and Sheletta try to talk through his anger and come to a place of healing and acceptance on The Mommy & Me Podcast.
