https://www.simplyscuba.com - On Monday morning a pod of 49 whales had been found stranded near the base of Farewell Spit, over the course of the day around 150 volunteers worked to keep the whales cool and wet as the prepared to re-float them on the high tide, most of the volunteers had been dousing them with buckets of water for over six hours… for that you will always have my respect.
