I want my money back!
This is the most poorly narrated book I have ever heard! It sounds like someone asked their sister-in-law and the guy next door to come into his basement and record it on his laptop. I could only stand it for about ten minutes, and I had to delete the file. Let this be a lesson to me to always listen to a sample before purchasing any title!
Not worth the price
What would have made Home for Christmas better?
Better narrators and more interesting writing.
What was most disappointing about Jodi Olsons story?
It was very simple and predictable.
What didnt you like about Kendra Morgan and Max Turner s performance?
They don't sound like professional narrators. Kendra Morgan particularly read too slowly as if she was reading to a toddler. I was so frustrated with the narration that I couldn't finish the audio book with only 30 minutes remaining.

Would you try another book from Jodi Olson and/or Kendra Morgan and Max Turner ?
I liked the story but not the narrators. Kendra Morgan sounded like a man and she did not stop in some places making the story one long run on sentence. Max Turner was okay but could have done a better job on his own or not used at all. But was much better than Kendra Morgan.
Would you recommend Home for Christmas to your friends? Why or why not?
No. Even though the story was good the reading was a great big put off.
How could the performance have been better?
Better narrators.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Home for Christmas?
Nothing I really liked the story.
Borring dull
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
better writing more interaction with the main couple and the rest of the family, having the main couple be out in different places not always in the house together.
Would you ever listen to anything by Jodi Olson again?
not likely
How could the performance have been better?
more personable, couple to be more interactive and be in other surroundings than just the house.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Home for Christmas?
i would want the book more personal, interactive more with the other members of the family
Any additional comments?
just not impressed by the book did not give me laugh or cry moments.
Bad Narration
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The narration was so bad that I couldn't get beyond the first chapter
Has Home for Christmas turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
How could the performance have been better?
Professional narrators who talk beyond kindergarden level would have helped
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment
