Today is the grand finale of Matrix Month as we review the newest film, Matrix Resurrections. To find out if his reality is a physical or mental construct, Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. If he's learned anything, it's that choice, while an illusion, is still the only way out of -- or into -- the Matrix. Neo already knows what he has to do, but what he doesn't yet know is that the Matrix is more dangerous than ever before.

Alright, so maybe Matrix Revolutions wasn't as revolutionary as the original, but it does give us some much-needed answers, and completes the trilogy. For those reasons, we're excited to take a look back at it.

The third installment finds Neo trapped in a limbo world and the majority of the planet's population remain in a state of suspended virtual reality. The few humans who are cognizant of the grim realities of the world must hold off their mechanical enemies long enough for Neo to escape and save the day.

Some say that the second installment in the trilogy didn't live up to the first. Then again, some say that it deepened the world and mythology and is better than the original.

Whatever the case, we're going to break it down.

In Matrix Reloaded, Neo meets a program called the Architect, the creator of the Matrix, who explains that Neo must make a choice to either reboot the Matrix and pick survivors to repopulate the Zion, or refuse, causing the Matrix to crash and killing everyone connected to it.

After doing hundreds of storyboards for the original, Steve became a longtime collaborator of the Wachowski’s and worked on all four Matrix films— yes, including the latest.

From being there when the pitch for the original movie got rejected by the studios, to watching it become one of the most influential films of the last few decades, Steve has a unique perspective on the series. Today we are interviewing a unique worldbuilder with a different approach. Splashmango, AKA, Juliana Loh, is a VR artist who uses google tiltbrush to create her 3D worlds.

Her work has been featured in Burning Man VR 2021 as well as the upcoming VIFF, HIFF and QLD XR Festivals. Juliana's background includes brand entertainment, games UX and education. She uses human centric design principles to provide a process-oriented framework for discovery and is available for creative direction + AR/VR opportunities.

When Fuller is murdered just as he begins testing of the VR system, his friend and protégé becomes the primary suspect. What follows will blow your 90s mind.
