New information is released about the crypto transaction between ransomware hackers DarkSide and Colonial in the pipeline shutdown story.  Speaking of crypto, China "bans" crypto transactions and the market subsequently tanks.  Not financial advice but uh... it's probably a good time to buy some crypto.

In Entertainment Club, Gwyneth Paltrow's company is being sued over the EXPLOSION of one of her ironic vagina candles.  Hopefully they don't actually smell like that... and hopefully we can all get this image out of our heads.  Also, Queen Elizabeth seems to have everything around her perish in a not-so-blaze of glory, and the Friends reunion sparks an interesting conversation about the quality of sitcoms since the 90s.

Finally, in Reach for the Sky, the random question generator is a little feisty today and Cam isn't ready for the deep philosophical discussion that the robot seeks.

We talked about a lot of stuff.  Here's the podcast, sorry it's late.

Despite the CDC's new guidelines, Cam has seen a lot more people wearing masks alone in their cars recently and it's about as dumb as it sounds.    Plus, in some followup from stories last week, India the tiger has been FOUND in Houston, and the cicadas from Brood X may become mating zombie bugs.  But could they get you high though?!  J. Everybody's still freaking out about the gas "shortage" and they've resorted to... hoarding gas in plastic bags?!  Regardless of whether or not this is actually happening, just don't do it.  And don't hoard Chick-Fil-A sauce either, go buy the bottle at the damn grocery store.  Plus, Cam is disappointed in people that don't know anything about it emotionally reacting to the Israel and Palestine conflict.  And do you have a job interview horror story?  Leave a comment to let us know what you think.

The Colonial Pipeline malware attack shuts down the supply of at least 45% of the Southeast's gas, causing RIDICULOUS lines at gas pumps, higher prices, and general panic.  But fear not, the New York Times claims there isn't any of this, so nothing to worry about right?!  Plus, to start off, Cam talks about his struggles with quitting nicotine that might be helped along by a Florida woman who found a moist cigarette in her Taco Bell order.

Also, in Entertainment Club, NBC cancels the Golden Globes and I'm sure EVERYONE cares about missing out on these awards.  Tom Cruise gets caught in the outrage by deciding that we need MORE diversity!  Surely returning his academy awards will fix it.

PLUS, the Paul brothers have made this whole exhibition fight dealio WAY more convoluted than it had to be, and Cam hopes Floyd Mayweather can just take them both out in one match.  That isn't happening unfortunately.  Also, in Eye on Social Media, Alabama SIGN wars break out between a local jeweler and Chick-Fil-A.  Let them have this, it's probably the most exciting thing that'll ever happen in their lives.
