Today and yesteryear there were people designated as sin eaters who would eat the sins of the deceased so they might go to heaven free of sin. Today the concept is a bit different but there's a Guild in Britain with the modern concept of sin eaters - doing what needs to be done that others cannot do. But has sin become an antiquated concept? With all the abuse and exploitation in the world, with all the unaccountability we see everyday in the headlines, if we labeled it the "SIN" that is surely is, would it make a difference?
