Hola Hola! We are back with Season 2: Episode 11 of Conversaciones con Colegas. In this episode we bring you a charla with la maestra Cindy López Hernández, the daughter of Mexican immigrants, sister, mother to my 4 year old son. She is a dual language 1st grade teacher in the suburbs of Chicago. She has been a TpT author since 2011 and continues to enjoy creating bilingual resources for our community. When she’s not teaching or creating for TpT, she enjoys working out, Zumba, listening to podcasts and exploring her city.
Our hope and vision for our podcast is to elevate the voices and needs of educators and students, especially those voices which are often silenced or overlooked. Cindy’s work aligns with LatinXChange in that she advocates and elevates representation in the classroom and in the curricular resources she creates.
¡Gracias por escucharnos! Join the conversation on our Social Media Platforms and sign-up to our mailing list for an invitation to join our community platform. Also, reach out to us if you have any experiences or stories you’d like to share, our microphone is always open to colegas. Nos vemos la próxima semana, as we spend our Wednesday’s getting through the mid-week hump, juntos en comunidad y conversación.
