Since No One Asked with Jesslyn

She's beauty, she's grace, she's here to get in your face... She's back. With changes in my relationship, my hair, and my career, I've got a whirlwind of updates for you. I also have a lot to get off my chest. I just made a huge life accomplishment and I'm left feeling... empty? How does this happen? Tune in to hear how I handled what I am calling "post accomplishment depression" with finding joy in everyday successes. 

Long time, no see! I was supposed to be back by the end of July but... an on the job injury and some unexpected guests came along and it has been quite the cluster. I mean, isn't always? Anyways, enjoy a little life update and laugh at my pain! 

And that's a wrap on season one! You guys are incredible! To show my appreciation, I complied a bunch of my emotional baggage and how I'm attempting to handle it.

Let's normalize quitting things that don't suit us, shall we? Staying consistent and being dedicated to something that does not matter is not noble, it's foolish. Complacency is a dangerous place to be. Sometimes, things don't work and there's no shame in saying, "Hey, this isn't working but something else will work." It's time to let go of what isn't fulfilling and search out what is truly meant to be. 

Today we're talking about all things spring! A new season brings so many fun and terrible things. Then, I'm breaking down a new concept. We're all taught to chase our dreams... but are we allowed to change our dreams? Yes. I've decided yes.
