last week i had a small invite only event of about 150 people in my hometown of Montreal, and performed

i thought it was really important to film a live show because although people might not be able to hear these songs in their city for the foreseeable future, i wanted to create an online experience for my friends around the world that would give them just a taste of what it would feel like to hear these songs together 💘 it’s coming out soon! a long with 3 new songs that i can’t wait for you to share!

at the end of the show, we had sa conversation about the meaning behind Act 3, what it means to stop living in the world of imagination after heartbreak, and the full circle moment of this crazy adventure that music has been.

i really wanted to share this HONEST conversation I had with my friend Joanna, who’s like a big sister to me… we often have conversations like these, and I told her that if our talks were podcasts, i’d listen to them… not because of some incredible insight… but because sometimes I need to be reminded that my problems aren’t always “unique” to me, and that other people can also be going through the same things or have been through the same thing… … and knowing that you’re not alone navigating this crazy thing called LIFE, is sometimes all you need to keep going.

So an idea came to me for a podcast called “SINCE NOBODY IS ASKING” with GION, where i could go in depth about the lyrics of my songs, my creative process in making them, the experiences and lessons i’ve learnt that formed them, and most of all… explain questions that NOBODY is asking about the meticulous details i put in my music…and who knows, maybe, a long the way, a few people will become curious and begin asking a few questions themselves.
