It even has a rainbow district with nightclubs and services for the LGBTI community and visitors. But many will be surprised that Singapore is still a country that criminalises male same-sex relations under the British colonial-era sodomy laws – Section 377A.

Singapore’s High Court has rejected the latest bid to rule this law unconstitutional and delivered a somewhat offensive ruling.
