I'm sure you've heard it said of husband & wife-to-be "Today I marry my best friend!" Or maybe you've been cautioned by your seasoned married friends "make sure you're friends first." I do understand those sentiments however I've got lots of questions about the actual 'mechanics'  behind those sentiments.
