In this week’s episode of Single, Married, Divorced our hosts discuss if it’s healthy to argue in a relationship and whether it is smart to start a fight to show you care.  Tom tells us about a guy who goes on a first date at a mattress store.  We also catch up with Allison on her app dating.  Erik and Allison  finally get to tell Tom why he’s wrong  but do they change his mind?

Following last week’s poll, Allison has downloaded three dating apps but has she activated them? Tom drops some more married guy knowledge on us that love is hard and we may have discovered one reason why Erik hasn’t walked down the aisle.

After reading a Wall Street Journal article the SMD team discusses its findings that more and more people are waiting to get married.   Is marriage as we know it becoming outdated?   Allison continues down the path of signing up for a dating app and we learn why and how she became divorced.  Tom talks about team dating and Erik tells us what he expects his marriage (if it ever happens) to be like.

Breaking News: More people are meeting on-line than ever before. What does that mean for people trying to meet off-line?  The SMD crew takes issue with lying on dating profiles as Allison gets closer and closer to taking the plunge into app dating.  Some app pick-up lines get nothing but groans from our hosts and Tom lays down some solid marriage knowledge for those single folks.

This week the SMD crew takes dating off-line and old school. Who should be making the first move? Allison shares a bizarre dating request that blows the guys minds and Tom tells us how he moved in on a woman only to be told to move on.  Our team also discusses what happens when the bill comes on a first few dates.

In this week’s episode, the SMD crew gets political.  Not necessarily talking about their political views, just how those views can work or not work in a relationship. Allison shares how she made it through NRA dinners with her ex-husband and Tom talks about being raised by parents of different political persuasions.  Erik tells us how politics ended a recently budding romance before the first date.  BUT putting politics aside- Allison and Tom agree to chaperone one of Erik’s potential dates.
