Unfortunately however for the rest of us, all of this excess stress can lead to an increase in weight. You may not notice it at first, but stress can slowly creep up on you, and the next thing you know is you're experiencing muscle atrophy, headaches, irritability and notice your clothes no longer fit. Overwhelmed, and out of control, stress can takes a toll on your physical, mental and emotional health.
