We got back a week ago from spending 10 days on the Camino. As we walked nearly 200 miles, we learned a lot of lessons on the way! This week we are sharing some of those insights with you.
Katie just went through a hiring process and as a result has a few things to share about what she saw from the applications she received and how to stand out from the crowd! Whether you are currently looking for a job or not, this conversation is a worthwhile listen!
In part 2 of our series on the enneagram, we discuss how knowing our self better - including our needs and fears - can help strengthen and deepen our prayer life and relationship with God. We discuss how each of us needs a combination of stillness, silence, and solitude to pray well, and how to discover what you need most.
This week as we head off on our Camino adventure, we wanted to discuss personality tests and the benefits they can provide for knowing ourselves and others better. Personally, we like the Enneagram as a way to learn more about our core desires, needs, and fears. For both of us, this test has helped us understand better the way we tick, explain ourselves better to others, and has helped us learn how to talk with those who do not have our personality traits.
As single women, how do you combine this boss babe culture we are surrounded by and the call to be open to life? We discuss how even without biological sister we can live in a way that is open to life, and we can pursue career excellence without becoming a slave to our profession or the corporate climb.
There are times in our lives when it feels like we are living in a friendship drought. It could be after a move, when our friends get married or start having babies, or other big life events. This week we discuss how to get through these droughts by pouring into our friends and giving them the time we uniquely have as single individuals.
In a special episode, this week Monica and Katie discuss the new Pope - Pope Leo XIV! As faithful Catholics, what does this mean, and how should we respond? And full transparency, as Chicago natives - we are thrilled that a Chicago boy is the new Roman Pontiff.
Today we talk about what to do when you are at a crossroads in life - maybe it's in your career, in a relationship, in any part of your life - and you need to make a decision of whether to keep on with what you are currently doing or pivot into the new and unknown. Monica and Katie share their thoughts about times they needed to pivot, the advice they received along the way, and even how AI can help you make the decision!
We're taking a break from our usual programming and discussing the death of Pope Francis, the legacy he leaves behind, and the upcoming election of our next Pope. Katie shares some insights from her trip to Rome and her experience being in St. Peter's Square the day he passed away!
Are your facial expressions keeping people from engaging with you? Do you hold yourself in a way that shuts you off from others? Whether we are trying to find a life partner, a new friend, or someone to share the Gospel with, carrying ourselves in a way that attracts others is important. We dive into this discussion based on a recent Diary of a CEO podcast with Vanessa Van Edwards.
