A woman recounts her cousin's tragic death caused by a drunk off-duty police officer in Louisiana. The officer crashed into her cousin's vehicle at high speed, killing him on impact. The family's pain is compounded by the fact that the officer received a light sentence of only twelve years in prison. The cousin's son was left without a father at the age of eight. The storyteller uses this tragic incident to highlight the consequences of selfish choices and the devastating impact they can have on others.
