Per usual, we tossed religion and "what people say" in the trash here. Dad lays down a "cheat sheet" of his study of God's laws.  If you love deep study of things, this cast should fire you up to dig into more yourself. If you're more like me (the son) you'll appreciate the cheat sheet b/c it is really interesting and gets you to the punchline: death is separation from God, and it's awful. Life is walking with God and it's grace that offers us that abundant full life.

Confusion and the sensation of being overwhelmed are huge obstacles in everyday life. In this cast we expose them as they relate to our spiritual journey.  We find that many people are overwhelmed or confused by what people or man-made religion add to the simple and free truth of Jesus. Obstacles trip us up. They often keep us from what we want to get to. They make things harder than they should be. This week we talk about some obstacles we have encountered when trying to learn about God and Jesus. There is tons of erroneous doctrine and manmade additives in religion that it is often a huge obstacles that leaves us running in the opposite direction of Jesus.
