Poem is written from the perspective of Eve. Eve is the mate of Adam. She is know mostly for eating the forbidden fruit that God instructed Adam not to eat of. Adam’s job was to protect the garden and everything in it, including his wife. However the enemy planted a seed of doubt into her mind and made her question God. She ate of the tree and invited her husband to do the same. Read more about this story in Genesis 2
