Shaw begins his mini episode series with house hacking. A person's housing expense is arguably the largest expense on the cash flow statement and house hacking aims to cut back on this expenses. With enough units, you can live for free! 

Effective August 6th, 2021, the U.S. Department of Education extended the student loan payment freeze until January 31st, 2022. This extension is said to be the final freeze. Young professionals have lived quite some time without paying these eligible loans. They are soon to come. Here's a high level overview of how to think about paying off debt and what you need to evaluate as these loans come back online.
