On our Traveling with Kids episode, we talked about the trials and tribulations of traveling with newborns or infants, and the stress it brings.

This past Easter holiday, the Segarras went on a little drive down to DC.

Hosts Jonathan and Stephanie, give you a detailed look into how their weekend was celebrating Easter, enjoying the Cherry Blossom festival, the American pastime (baseball game), and how we survived the ride with the girls to and from DC.

You've been waiting and clamoring for our final thoughts on the Netflix adaptation of Avatar the last Airbender and here it is! 

After always promising episodes (that never seem to materialize), host Jonathan and Stephanie, finally deliver.  They give their reviews on favorite episodes, characters, and what we hope for in season 2 of the show (cause yes, they still got us suckered in).

While we were quite negative in our "initial thoughts" episode, you might be surprised how this episode turns out (maybe not).

This week in Sipping with the Segarras, host Stephanie is joined by special guests Alfredo and Magdelin (Maggie) Enriquez as they talk about one of the ultimate discussions many families face- trying for another.

A lot of families, be they a family with a single child or families with multiple children already under their belt are frequently asked if another baby is in their future plans. Oftentimes, it is almost expected that a young family should have more than one child, the old natural way. The array of difficulties and issues that may arise during and after pregnancy are still not readily taught. Can my body take 9 months of pregnancy? Is adoption an option? Does gender matter?  Do  finances make sense?

Stephanie sits down with the Enriquez family, parents of their solo daughter, Grace, to talk about their initial expectations before their first round of pregnancy and labor, and what their thoughts are on having a second child.

We’ve done it! One year of podcasting on Sipping with the Segarras! We started this journey on March 7 2023, and 500 downloads later, we see the beginnings of a podcasting empire!

This week hosts, Jonathan and Stephanie, talk about the recent release of the live action Netflix recreation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

After watching the first episode, both hosts and fans of the original animated series give their opinions on what they liked, didn't like, and what we hope to see happen throughout the season.  

Though he proclaims himself to be an Earthbender, Jonathan releases some fiery takes and literally scorches  the show.  While in the true Avatar spirit, Stephanie tries to bring balance to the pod and give a voice of reason to Jonathan's smoky barrage. But a big fan of the original, she cannot hold back from simultaneously pointing out all the differences she noticed that made the original cartoon so well-loved by a generation of people.

Will Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietko's decision to part ways with the development of the live-action show spark a civil war as we know it? Take a seat on your air-bison, grab your fire flakes, and join us on this adventure to save the world.

Host, Jonathan and Stephanie, play another rousing game of "Tonight Conversation", which is designed for couples to answer questions as honestly as they can.  

This round of questions came full of spicy, sexytime related themes, which toes the line on the taboo of sexual female empowerment. The two sit down and give their opinions on certain situations, while bringing their humor and ridiculousness, some have us trying to find the right answer.  There are also some gross ones which Stephanie has no shame exposing.

A special edition of Sipping with the Segarras, where we get to know a little bit more about Stephanie and her journey writing her first poetry book, Be Still Like Water.

In this week's episode Stephanie talks about the influences in her writing from her days back in college as she explored writing in a whole new way with one of her favorite professors.  She explains the struggles of writing consistently, and what helped her get back into the groove of things.  

The support system, in which Stephanie has, helped her develop new ideas and sharpen her vision for the book.  From best friends that contribute to constant hype, to a loving husband (Jonathan) who gives her the big thumbs up after reading a poem (despite not understanding the nuances of poetry and only wondering if she will write anything about him). She talks about the process of creating the book from scratch, including working with the artist she is collaborating with to do the cover and insert pages.

The Road to Wrestlemania has begun after the conclusion of the Royal Rumble.

Hosts Jonathan and Stephanie try something new as they give their live reaction to the conclusions of both the Women's and Men's Royal Rumble.  

We discuss what storylines have been taking place recently on Raw and Smackdown, and how the results of each Royal Rumble might affect those storylines.  We go through the big moments and how our favorite WWE Superstars faired.  

It was a great show full of surprise entries, shock results, and bodies flying over the ropes.  So put your seatbelt on as you ride along with us on this road to the showcase of the Immortals!

Stephanie and Jonathan sit down to chat about the finale of GBBO and to discuss the things they liked, loved, and what could have been better from this years competition.  

Our previous GBBO episode the host gave their prediction for the final after watching two episodes.  They relive their reactions to the winner, and how they felt when loved contestants were eliminated.  

Its always bittersweet for us watching the finale as we are left knowing it is the last episode for the season but the culmination of finding out who wins is all worth it after rooting and getting to know each and every one of them.
