I know you guys have heard me celebrate my GYST days every Sunday, but getting your shit together has become a stinky trend we have accepted and yet we wonder why we're stressed 25/7? Let me tell you how you're doing it all wrong.

I could write a wholeeeee description as to why I chose to speak on this topic but at the end of the day, the reason was YOU GUYS. This past Monday I went onto Instagram stories asking what are some of the not so great things people have said in response to your mental health needs and the things you guys sent me BROKE. MY. HEART.

I was recently diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder with traits of Bipolar Disorder, and had a tough time of my own leaning on my support team when I needed them the most. So for today's episode, let's talk about how to support someone with mental health needs & how you can support yourself.

Ever wake up and just want to say "Nope" and snooze the day away. Not exactly because you are still tired, or don't want to go to work, but because your mind has just decided that you are going to live the day in a dark shadow? Depression f*cking sucks man. Whether it is crawl into a hole deep depression, or "what's wrong?" "I'm fine" but something inside says you're really not functioning depression. The bad news, I don't have the magic answer to help you snap out of it. The good news? I think I've figured out a few ways to hack the system. Listen up for my top depression hacks.

Throwback to when you used to have to make that super hard decision of which friends to invite to your birthday party. Or group chats about summer plans before the school year took over again. Do you remember that super embarrassing phase where you added "Bffz 4 Evr" on all of your pictures with your friends?

Why did it seem so easy back then and now, in adulthood where everything is supposed to be freedom based, you feel alone. You struggle to make girlfriends. The friendships you do have lack still don't leave you socially fulfilled. I get it. Making real friends at this age is hard. Let's talk about it.
