April Centrone

Founded by April Centrone and Jenny Santa Maria, Hear Me Roar is an event organization that brings together women in music and art. This week, I got to chat with April Centrone about their organization, what a typical event is like and their show coming up this Sunday in Point Pleasant, NJ with Solidarity Through Humanity to raise money to provide heat for Syrian refugees. I also had the pleasure of learning a little bit more about April, her history with music and the years she spent in Lebanon teaching Arabic music to child refugees.
