As a Makeup Artist, Mom and animal rights enthusiast, Nicole Glendinning has learned how to combine her passion for makeup with her compassion for animals. She's been a professional Makeup Artist for 10 years and currently works for her own company The Beauty Den along with Lush Cosmetics in the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, NJ.
I sat down with Nicole to learn what the process was like switching over to cruelty free makeup products for herself and her clients, the importance of conscious shopping, the difference between animal testing and human testing, why you don't have to be a vegan to start supporting vegan products and every day sources people could use like logicalharmony.net to find makeup products and that are vegan and/or cruelty free.

Not one to stay in one place for too long, Elyse currently resides in Nashville, TN and works as a Talent Scout for Atlantic Records. Elyse listens to about 50-60 hours of music a week, trying to find the needle in the haystack. Hear her story, how she got to where she is now by sharing the music she loves, what she looks for in musicians before presenting them to Atlantic and what bands should consider if they want to get picked up by a major label.
Driven by her love for music, desire to make a change and possibly an unhealthy amount of Red Bull, nothing stops Ali Nugent. Ali and I sat down over the summer to talk about her zine Tiny Bees, how the project started, the positive impact she's made so far and what she hopes the project will turn into next.
If you'd like to keep up with Ali Nugent, check out her website at ofallthingsali.xyz and follow her on Instagram @ofallthingsali.
