When it comes to going to college, we’re basic. As in we were part of the “69% percent high school students go to college” statistic. Now a few years out of college, we’re basic in another sense, joining the 66% of Americans who question their college education. Join us in this episode, as we have a chat about if our education was worth the price we paid for it. Hint, one of us says “hell no”

As that popular song goes, Love love love. Love is, simply put, a force of nature. Amongst many things, love can’t be bought, sold, turned off, tuned on, and controlled, and it’s so important, we’ve dedicated an entire day to it. But then again, we are the same humans who’ve dedicated an entire day to cheese (June 4th) and telling lies (April 4th), so make of that what you will, and we did. Join us as we have a little chart about our personal experiences with Saint Valentine's day, what it means to us and how we celebrate the day of love while we are chronically single.

Despite what several grumpy old folks and Nerissia thinks, Social media isn't just filled with headaches, opinionated individuals with medical degrees from Facebook, and people vying for attention. When used correctly, Social media can be a powerful tool of awareness to some of the injustice going on worlds away and or right under your nose. In this episode of SisChat, we highlight some of the trending hashtags we've come across, what they mean, and how you can start getting involved.

We all love to claim that we can do multiple things at the same time. Multi-tasking is one of the most sought after skills in the working world. But is it something that we can actually do? And if we can, is it effective in us being as productive as we possibly can? In this episode of SisChat, we break down a few truths we found about one of the most important “soft skills out there” and why experts urge us to move away from the trend. If you want more information, do what we did and utilize the internet, our sources (attached below), and insight from professionals with 25+ years of experience is only one click away.

Contrary to our deepest wishes and our reliance on arbitrary set timelines, the world will not reset on December 31st, 2020 on the eleventh hour, at the fifty-ninth minute, on the fifty-ninth second. What we're experiencing will have a lasting impact on humanity for years to come. What does that mean? Ask the experts; we don't know. But what that means for us is, we gotta do what we gotta do. In today's episode, we talk about what we are doing in this new normal to make our lives work for us. Relax, it's nothing monumental and we're not telling you what you should be doing... leave that to the experts. This is a chat between two sisters about their next steps and celebrating the little wins from time to time.
