Sister Act 40k

After a bit of a hiatus, Mitch and Scott are back with a real joy of an episode - talking Glorious Heavy Bolter Vahlgons with the legendary T Chambliss aka TwoHorse on the Siscord. T talks about his epic list, what heavy bolters really do for him, and the surprising power of a flood of miracle dice combined with tech pieces like the retributors + dialogus. We also talk briefly about T's experience going 6-0 with the list and later taking it to the World Champs of Warhammer. Enjoy!

Join Mitch and Scott as they dive into the latest Warhammer dataslate! We praise the Emperor, blessed of Terra, for his wisdom in smiting challenger cards out of the game, and then dive deep into the sisters points and rules changes. Scott also helps Mitch craft a wild new list for the LGT live on the air, which he then fearlessly (recklessly?) commits to running it at the biggest event in 40k's history. Who needs Vahl with retributors on the rise? Hopefully not Mitch's pride!

Welcome LikeItHot from Team China to Sister Act 40k! Mitch and Scott talk about LikeItHot's WTC experience, the Chinese scene, and what it was like playing for Team China at their first ever appearance at the event. China did phenomenally well with LikeItHot as one of their best scorers - and he was the highest scoring Sisters player at WTC! We also of course talk about his list, approach to scoring and winning, and how his games went at the big show. And as always, praise the Emperor and those who purge his foes.

Mitch and Scott invite back beloved guest Ash aka Kian to the show! Ash has been tearing it up recently with her Hallowed Martyrs list that runs Canis Rex. She most recently won a GT at Dark Sphere in London, and then took it to WTC as part of Team Thailand! We interviewed Ash before WTC her to learn all about how it works, her run at Dark Sphere, and her plans for WTC. Now that the event is over and there are no more secrets to keep, we can release this episode to the world also!

Well done at WTC Ash - you made us all proud and showed some amazing gameplay on stream.

We're back baby! After Mitch finally gets his life back in order, he jumps back on the mic with Scott just in time to review WTC lists before the world's most spectacular teams event kicks off this week. Listen to Scott and Mitch break down all 7 sisters lists, what the mean for the meta, and what we think the world-class list writers were intending with their submissions. It's an exciting meta with 3 detachments represented across the 7 lists, so jump in with us and lets talk Sisters again!

The March dataslate has dropped and the Emperor has led us from the darkness! Join Mitch and Scott for a classic Sister Act 40k dataslate review, where we talk over every little change with a puritanical zeal worthy of the Golden Throne. Scott and Mitch also riff on their favorite builds coming out of the dataslate - spoiler alert, its Hallowed Martyrs time!

Listeners, it is time to face our judgment. The Emperor has deemed us unworthy of our rules and points, and has blessed us to suffer mightily to earn our redemption. That's right, time to review the latest balance dataslate!

Join Mitch and Scott as we run through the changes, our thoughts on what this means for the sisters, and where to go next.

Finally - Mitch send his deepest, deepest apologies for the super long delay in getting this episode out. My personal life has been in utter shambles between a very rough patch at work combined with coordinating a house purchase & move, and our release cadence has suffered as a result. Expect more content very soon with a review of Champions of Faith!

The dialoguys bring Rhys Cunningham onto Sister Act 40k! Rhys is a world-class player from Australia who has won multiple major AUS events as well as representing the Aussies at WTC this past year. Rhys recently went 8-0 at a GT with a Triumph-less list after the Fall MFM changes, and we just had to have him on the show to talk through the tried-and-true bringers vehicle list. Enjoy!

Mitch finally meets a cohost!! Scott recently traveled to the UK to visit Mitch, play at the LGT (and Friday Night Doubles), and even visit Warhammer World! Listen in to learn all about Scott's excellent adventure to the home of Warhammer and this latest evolution in the Mitch-Scott bromance. Finally, as a bonus you also get to hear all about McWerp's adventure too, as he came all the way from western Canada to join us for much of the experience.

The Emperor Protects (the bromance)!

The MFM is out and judgment day has arrived for the sororitas. The Emperor's finest had become lax in their faith, using a powerful codex to defeat His foes without sufficient suffering and castigation. Fear not sisters, for our judgment has given us new opportunity to prove our faith after bearing a new burden of points hikes! Listen in to hear Mitch & Scott dissect the points changes, what it means for our faction, and our new place in the meta. Our Emperor deliver us!
