How i Died follows a coroner with a secret ability to speak to the dead, and the story is set in a strange and shadowy remote town called Springfield, which boasts an unusually high mortality rate. As bodies start piling up in the morgue, coroner and forensic pathologist Jon Spacer uses his ability to talk to the dead to help the local police solve the case-of-the-week, while also tracking down clues about a mysterious serial killer.
