This week, we’re lighting a match—not for fireworks, but for truth bombs. 💣🇺🇸 In this spicy Fourth of July episode of Sister Rant, Jamie and Mattea unpack the real history behind Independence Day and ask the question: what are we actually celebrating?

We’re digging into:
• What really happened on July 4, 1776
• Who freedom was actually for back then (hint: not everyone)
• How today’s political climate under Trump 2.0 makes this holiday hit different
• ICE raids, Iran bombings, and why “liberty and justice for all” feels like a damn myth right now

So grab a cold drink, cancel those BBQ plans, and get ready for an honest conversation about patriotism, protest, and what it means to love your country while holding it accountable.
