Sister Trip

Sister Trip is all about the adventure. In this episode we share the shenanigans of a recent camping trip we took. Fun was had by all - or most - as we soon found out. The "Lorax" and a potential crime! And by crime I mean we assumed the worst without any evidence and had fun solving it. We hope you enjoy hearing about the trip and getting to know us a little better. 

There is a lot of controversy across the country and in our family. In this episode we discuss Dad's recent COVID diagnosis and the wedge forming in the family. Rachel was unavailable to record, so this one is a conversation between Candy Jo and Mandee. 

Obviously there were a lot of stories to tell about the places we lived and we couldn't possibly fit them all into one episode. By the time Candy Jo was 18 and left home, we had moved 10 times. The accommodations were less that stellar, but as you will hear, we sure made a lot of memories. So many in fact, that we had to save several for next week's episode, and yet we packed a lot into this one. On November 22, 2007, Thanksgiving Day, Renee (sibling #8), her husband and Candy Jo's son were in a serious car accident. She had just graduated college and been married five months prior. This is the beginning of that story.
