In this episode Logan tours UNLV and Southern Utah University before making a final decision about college. Either way he has made it clear that he is basically never coming back. After an emotional discussion about finances, Kody bullies the wives into putting down earnest money on the four lots to hold them for 30 days while they try to secure financing. After touring both campuses Logan announces that he is going to go to UNLV, but makes it clear that the family must treat him as a college student. Kody tells all of the kids that they "made an earnest money to make an offer on the homes" which of course no one understands. The teens all call him out and no one is excited.
