Welcome back to Sisterhoop! On this episode I get to talk to the amazing Paisley Harding (Johnson) from Brigham Young University.

Paisley talks about her success on YouTube and TikTok, the bill being passed in favor of "Name, Image, and Likeness", and how she balances all of these ventures while playing college basketball.

Fitriya Mohamed, an advocate for Muslim athletes, joins Sisterhoop this week. 

Fitriya and I talk about her experiences playing basketball as a Muslim woman, her advocacy work through Hijabi Ballers and the MWSBL and her goal of changing the narrative about how her religion and Muslim athletes are perceived.

We also discuss the need for better representation of minorities in the media, her campaign with Nike to create a guide for allyship with Muslim athletes and the progress needed to level the playing field for all athletes.

Dajah Logan, a graduate from St. Bonaventure,  joins Sisterhoop to share her wisdom about becoming a coach, growing through to ups and downs of college basketball and appreciating all of the lessons and opportunities basketball has given her.

Araion Bradshaw, a redshirt senior at Dayton, comes on Sisterhoop to talk about her new coalition for the A10, Athletes Driving Change.

Araion and Olivia also discuss what it is like for her dad to be a Black cop in the time of Black Lives Matter vs. Blue Lives Matter. On top of that, Araion talks about winning a national championship with South Carolina, her relationship with the great A'ja Wilson and her two young sisters' impact on her advocacy.

Kailyn Strawbridge, a redshirt senior at Loyola in Chicago, goes deep into her career-ending injury and her journey with mental health.
