We can get in our head and think God must be mad at us or have forgotten his promises to us. Why the suffering? Why the loss? Why the rejection? I heard this quote on Rita Springer’s podcast, Worship is My Weapon, “What if God is doing this FOR YOU AND NOT TO YOU?” It started me thinking how often my go to perspective is that God is doing things to me. To punish me or because I’m not good enough or something. But the scripture paints a very different picture! So I did some digging and contemplating and in this episode I share what a found! I pray it blesses you and helps you gain new perspective, one where God is for you not against you!!!

Welcome to Sisters Renewed Podcast! I’m Sarah St. Clair, wife to Tim and homeschool mom to our 6 daughters . We love raising them in the Upstate of SC. My prayer is that this podcast will encourage you to run to Jesus and find him to be everything you need. In this Episode I share what the Lord is teaching me about REST- my word for 2025. It is sure not easy for me to truly embrace rest, yet the Bible is filled with so many verses on this topic! We are invited by Jesus himself to come to him…..in our weariness and with our burdens and he will give us rest! I don’t know about you but it sounds too good to be true…..and I struggle to understand how to really do that. So, take a listen as I wrestle through my thoughts on this and pin point specific ways we can embrace REST, both in our body and soul. May we learn to step away from our own agendas and thought spirals and be still and know that he is God! May we learn to truly REST in him.

Hello friends! Welcome to episode 41! I just had to share about how the Lord showed up in such a powerful way and stirred a new hunger for Him and His presence in my heart. And then how that affects all the areas of my life! When I welcome his presence into my days and let the Spirit fill me, everything is better. True joy, true peace!!! I hope this encourages you to spend time with Him today. Take him your burdens and cares. Pursue His presence and allow him to wake you up to all he is doing in and around you. And then share that joy and love with those in your world! May this be just the beginning of a new awakening of our souls to righteousness and holiness.
