Spoiler alert -- we don't think any of the Traitors did a good job this season.

We discuss Boston Rob's betrayal of Bob the Drag Queen, defend Danielle Reyes' unhinged acting, and gush over Alan Cumming's fashion.

We're still holding space for Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo's Oscars performance! In this episode, Shelby and Laura review the 97th Academy Awards celebrating the best in film! We break down and review cinema's biggest night, so you don't have to. Spoiler alert -- we didn't love the awards show since it was disjointed and a near sweep for Anora. We hoped movies like Nickel Boys, Conclave, Sing Sing, and A Complete Unknown would get some love!

We dissect the Emilia Perez tweets and The Brutalist AI controversies that plagued the awards season, discuss how Sean Baker made history winning 4 oscars for 1 film, explain why Anora just didn't resonate with us, highlight our favorite moments like Conan O'Brien's witty opening monologue and Zoë Saldaña's emotional speech, celebrate Paul Tazewell and I'm Still Here's powerful wins, question the random James Bond and Quincy Jones tributes, critique Adrien Brody's self-righteous speech, and analyze the biggest upset of the night--Mikey Madison beating Demi Moore in the Best Actress category. We also make way too early predictions for next year's Oscars ceremony.

We reviewed many of the 2024 Oscar nominees and winners. Check out our podcast episodes on Wicked, Gladiator II, Inside Out 2, and Cannes Film Festival 2024.

Is love blind? Apparently, it may be bland or blurry instead. In this episode, Shelby and Laura review Love Is Blind Season 8 Episodes 1-9, the newest season based in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We analyze all the couples that made it out of the pods and debate who will actually make it down the altar. Heads up -- we think most of the couples shouldn't get married.

We discuss how Season 8 is struggling due to the non diverse cast, pop music choices, and baffling editing decisions like showing too much of Madison, Alex, Mason, and Meg even though they don't leave the pods engaged. We celebrate the one Black love story between Virginia and Devin, dissect all of the social media drama like Ben's ex's scathing TikTok video, Taylor accusing Daniel of an Instagram follow and unfollow, and Dave's family and friends blowing up his phone over Lauren's pre-show hookup, explain why it's short king season, analyze why Joey and Monica may be incompatible due to their living habits, spill the tea on Brittany's offscreen engagement to Mo, and debate whether or not signing a prenup is a green flag.

We'll have an episode on the last 3 episodes of Season 8, too, so make sure to tune in for our thoughts on how this season ends!

Cap is back! In this episode, Shelby and Laura review Marvel's Captain America: Brave New World starring Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, and Danny Ramirez. The 35th MCU film and 4th installment in the Captain America film series had a lot going on and big shoes to fill without Chris Evans.
