Success comes to those who have a plan of what they want to do and a system to follow. It’s important to know where you want to go and why but without a how, you’re not going to get very far.  

Value investing is about bargains. The logical structure behind it is the same as shopping on Black Friday. We all want a good deal. Bargains are the name of the game. If a company is worth X I want to pay 50% of X. That's it.  It’s simple but not easy.

Investing and speculation live on a thin boarder but when you are in each state there is to be no confusion on where you stand. Investors don't speculate but speculators confuse themselves with investors. I try to break it down and make it very clear.

There are a few things I wish someone told me before I started investing. Maybe a close friend sitting me down at a coffee shop and posing the question, “Do you really want to be an investor?”

Back when I started I would have shaken my head quick and begged for all their advice. Back then, I was willing to listen to anyone talk with me about investing. I am going to do my best to be this friend for you.
