Mark Hoyer from the University Of Florida talks about his Florida volunteer group, Lake Watch, and their issues with lake muck. He discusses where it comes from and how it can be prevented. He also talks about the controversial issue of herbicides having legacy effects in the sediments and how he works with all parties to get a testing method. Mark works with many stakeholders on Florida’s public lakes and he gives us a quick tutorial on how to find the middle ground.
