Noi and Steve are super adorable. Michael and Jasmina bond over his childhood trauma, and the experts are nowhere to be found. Again.

There's a lot happening in these first two episodes, but some moments stand out: Shake asking if the women are bigger than a bread basket, Sal playing a string instrument and making Amye fall in love with him, and Shane (who looks like Jolt Cola come to life) asking the wrong woman what she's wearing. Trisha makes a real brief appearance, thankfully, and we love Iyanna.

CHRIS DEFEATS THE END BOSS!

Alyssa must give up her Real World: Boston dreams as Chris kicks her to the curb. It's such a good scene, we had to watch it THRICE. Steve worries that having three kids will interfere with his dreaming and drone time, Jasmina and Michael continue to spiral, and Lindsey goes all Marie Kondo on Mark the Shark-who by the way has some very questionable word art in his home. Finally, Katina meets the kitchen in which she will spend every waking minute, and she's not impressed.

I mean...we can pretend this isn't the Alyssa and Chris show at this point, but is anyone really talking about anything else? Alyssa (who is a very good person, guys) is pretty much at her worst as she throws a teenage-like temper tantrum when she realizes the show she is on is not The Real World: Boston. Chris wants to move in with the woman he married, who, for some reason we cannot figure out, he still thinks is a good match for him in person. Lindsey channels her rage into a palm tree while Mark is terrorized by his landlord, O runs Katina through yet another battery of tests, and Mike tries to carve his and Jasmina's initials into moss. Oh, and Steve and Noi are still perfect.

Lindsey and "O" have a misunderstanding on the plane which leads to Mark the Shark playing peacemaker, a role he better get used to. Jasmina and Michael argue over whether or not life sucks, and we have the continuation of Alyssa's temper tantrum. Oh, and are the experts being held against their will somewhere/ Because they sure aren't showing up when we need them.

Alyssa and Chris might be this season's snooze fest, and Stephen and Noi prepare to take their walk next week. Amye and Leslie sit down to cover the first real episode of MAFS, season 14.
We have a lot of thoughts on Mark the Shark and Olajuwon in particular, and while we think Lindsey is annoying, we appreciated her scenes at the wedding.
Leslie has some territorial beef with the city of Boston, and Amye has the cheapest taste in wine ever. Beau Bridges, Kip from Napoleon Dynamite, and Jodie Foster all make surprise appearances on this episode.
