The exhilarating Broadway musical SIX (see my Review below) returns to Chicago at the Nederlander Theatre through July 14th. Joining in this new podcast conversation are Cassie Silva (who plays Anne Boleyn) and Alize Cruz (who plays Katherine Howard). If you have never seen the show, this is NOT any kind of traditional telling of history. It’s a pop concert full of fun, great music and some history tossed in. And….the two performances on Saturday, July 6th are both Sing-a-long shows where the audience is welcome to join in!
Check out this VERY fun conversation with two high energy talents.

My Review of “SIX:”
“Six” is Electric!! The six wives of Henry VIII own the stage and after a few minutes we come to realize the only reason King Henry is still remembered has nothing to do with him, it has everything to do with these ladies!
When I arrived at the theater and saw young people and adults all wearing crowns, dressed in purple…I just knew I had entered the “Six” Queendom!
Set up as a rock concert, all six of the actors rock the audience into cheering and singing along. Truth is, if Henry had these ladies as his wives, he wouldn’t have killed any of them! They are too much fun and each lights the stage with amazing energy. The show started in Chicago and made it to the Great White Way…but it’s home now and the cast knows it every time they yell out, “Chicago!!”
Playing through July 14th, don’t miss this show. And in fact, come on July 6th when you are invited to sing along with the cast…a dream come true!!
****/4…Highly recommended as a must see this summer!
