"Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry." - 1 Corinthians 10:14
We've looked at C.S. Lewis' quote which says that Jesus is either a Liar, Lunatic, or Lord. Jesus is not a liar, and He is not a lunatic. So, the only conclusion is that Jesus is Lord. Today we discover that Jesus is Lord and how we can know through the Scriptures that Jesus is Lord.
"And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, 'Where are you?'" - Genesis 3:8-9
"Whoever is steadfast in righteousness will live, but he who pursues evil will die." - Proverbs 11:19
"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8
"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done." - Luke 22:42
Many people may accuse Jesus of being out of His mind for claiming to be the Son of God. They may say that Jesus is not Lord, He simply needed to be taken to a mental institution. In this episode, we will discuss and discover whether or not Jesus was a Lunatic.
"Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw—each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done." - 1 Corinthians 3:12-13
"Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy," - Jude 24
"But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed." - Isaiah 53:5
