When dealing with a mental health illness sometimes self-care can be a challenge because we find it hard to be motivated to do so and we find it even harder to reconnect with ourselves. But it shouldn’t be this way, we should be able to find ways to reconnect with ourselves and in the beautiful irony is that self-care is the very thing that would begin to heal our mental health. Most people in general struggling when it comes to implementing self-care. In our day and age of all the phone scrolling we do and the constant need for that stimulation, self-care can get pushed back on our to-do lists. Dealing with a mental health illness at times can be hard, difficult, self-hurting, and downright confusing. So, today I want to share with you six self-care tips to help you reconnect back with yourself.
