David Blatt's second NBA season seemed to be going better than his first. Now, it's over.

Blatt was fired Friday by the title-chasing Cavaliers, replaced by top assistant Tyronn Lue, said David Griffin, the team's general manager.

Griffin told reporters Friday night that the Cavs had been taking steps back and were lacking connection. The team isn't in the business of being "pretty good," he said.

Blatt led Cleveland to the NBA Finals last year. He was fired one day after expressing frustration with criticism of a team that's 30-11 and the top team in the Eastern Conference.

Now that the leaching of poisonous lead into the tap water of Flint, Mich., has been declared a national emergency, it might be time to dial back the panic just a notch (or two).

Democrats Hate/Use Blacks

If Democrats cared for Blacks they would try to solve the problems of Blacks.  Instead of solving the problems of Blacks, Democrats offer just enough health care and welfare to keep Blacks on the Poverty Plantation so the Blacks will have to vote for Democrats to survive.

double what it is for whites.

• Unemployment among black-American

teens is now over 40%.

• 39% of all home foreclosures are among

Latino and black-Americans.

• 40.5% of black and Latino Americans now

live below the poverty line.

• Of the 46.5 million Americans on food

stamps, 33% are black-Americans.

• 34% of all abortions are performed on

black babies.

• 72.5% of all black births are to single

mothers.

Is that a list I made up?  No it is a list from a Black Conservative organization called American Conservatives of Color.  Please note, that none of these problems is solved by health care and welfare of Socialism.

Yes the health care and welfare of Socialism will keep Blacks alive on the Poverty Plantation, so they will have to vote for Democrats to survive.

Yes, Democrats do Hate and Use Blacks.

Blacks had better remember that the original slave traders in Africa were Blacks selling other Blacks into slavery.

Stacey Dash talked with Steve Doocy today on Fox & Friends, where she said it was “ludicrous” that people were getting upset with the Oscar awards for not nominating any Black actors.

When black Americans’ ancestors were enslaved in pre-Civil War America, they were compelled to live lives shaped by their masters. Uniformity was required, and disobedience was punished. As a result of this ongoing powerlessness, slaves developed what has been described as a “plantation mentality.”

So what’s changed? For an overwhelming majority of black Americans, nothing much. They still embrace a plantation mentality, but they’ve changed “masters:” from slave-owners to the Democratic Party.

Democratic run, Flynt, Michigan, are knowing poisoning their black voters.  

For the second year in a row, the Academy has only nominated white actors and Jada Pinkett Smith is irked.

The 44-year-old actress aired her feelings on Facebook, even mulling a boycott of the award show.

"At the Oscars, people of color are always welcomed to give out awards, even entertain, but we are rarely recognized for our artistic accomplishments," Pinkett Smith wrote on Facebook and Twitter. "Should people of color refrain from participating all together?"

"People can only treat us in the way in which we allow," the "Magic Mike XXL" star added. "With much respect in the midst of deep disappointment, J."

“She thinks that if people do not speak out things will never change,” reports Rob Shuter of naughtygossip.com. “Most of the folks that vote are old white men. This has to change. She doesn’t care if speaking out hurts her career, she cannot sit silent anymore."

When the nominations were announced snubbing Will Smith (“Concussion”), Idris Elba “Beasts of No Nation”), and Samuel L. Jackson (“The Hateful Eight”), there was an immediate backlash on Twitter. 

Objectors used the hashtag #OscarsSoWhite to highlight the fact that the only nomination for the critically acclaimed “Straight Outta Compton” when to the two white screenwriters, while “Creed,” a movie starring a black man and directed by a black man, only recognized Sylvester Stallone’s performance.

"Glenn fought a courageous battle for the past several weeks but, sadly, succumbed to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia. The Frey family would like to thank everyone who joined Glenn to fight this fight and hoped and prayed for his recovery."

In November, the Eagles postponed tour dates and their Kennedy Honors ceremony so that Frey could have surgery.

 

A statement released by the band at the time said Frey "has had a recurrence of previous intestinal issues, which will require major surgery and a lengthy recovery period."
