Jesus once warned his followers about getting caught up in religion and politics! perhaps its a warning we need to take some notice of.

In this podcast I look at what Jesus was meaning and apply it to everyday situations that we face. I touch on blame culture, rationalism, independence and mis-trust, along with others. There is a way of living and thinking differently. A different mindset for us to embrace, that will help  us live more like Jesus

On the whole we live in an unkind culture don't we? Whether we look at issues like racism, media, politics, international relationship, even within families and neighbourhoods, we can see a lot of unkindness. Certainly there are lots of kind words and deeds done, but the prevailing culture just seem so unkind.

But surely we wish it were a kinder world!

When we look at the Bible we see a kind God; not an angry one, or a stern one, but a kind, lavishly loving God.

So how do we, his people, reflect that and demonstrate what his realm, his kingdom is really like?

Sow Kindness!

I don’t think we often really take in the incredible privilege of the call that is on our lives and the challenge of living it out that exists. we who are called christians, have an opportunity and responsibility to live very differently from the way of the world.

The world is the wasteland of a lack of God's love, presence and power. We, the people of God, - his representatives - are the vehicles for making these available again.

The choice before humanity is to live connected to God- the true source of life, love, power, presence, care, goodness, provision. Or to live disconnected from all these.

Listen with me as we discover that now it’s our turn to re-present that same God and that Redeemer, The Christ, seen in Jesus the man.
